Two Emergency Medicine Physician Opportunities in Western, TX!

We are an independent group staffing two hospitals in Western Texas. Please note, we are not able to accept Visa candidates.

Hospital 1:

• Level 2 trauma center and county hospital
• Seeking ABEM/board eligible physicians
• Open to practicing physicians and summer 2025 graduates
• 10-hour shifts
• Approximately 2.0-2.2 patients per hour (pph) average
• 40 hours of physician coverage and 40 hours of Midlevel coverage
• Productivity-based pay with an hourly average consistently over $325
• Easy admissions with minimal pushback
• Transfers out for operative pelvic fractures, burns, strokes needing thrombectomy, Peds ICU
• Cerner FirstNet EMR with Dragon, efficient quick orders, order sets, no click boxes for charting
• Minimal issues with boarding; mental health screeners available
• In-house 24/7 ED pharmacists, CT scanners, ultrasound techs, MRI
• Trauma surgeons in house 24/7
• Hospitalist/pediatric hospitalist program with comprehensive consult list

Partnership opportunity for qualified candidates willing to live locally.

Hospital 2:

• Smaller hospital in Western TX
• Open to ABEM/ABPS, IM/FM with ED experience
• Critical access hospital with low volume
• Approximately 1 hour 15 minutes from the main hospital
• About 0.6 patients per hour (pph), 24-hour shifts
• Some physicians work only at this location, others only at Hospital 1
• 24-hour shifts with call room amenities (fridge, bathroom/shower, bed); hotel room available between shifts
• Family medicine hospitalist covers OB/GYN (>20 weeks), bypasses ER for pregnancy-related issues
• General surgeon on call; no other specialty support
• Compensation of $200/hr
