Primary Care Opportunity

Monroe CBOC Monroe, LA

The Monroe VA Clinic located in Monroe, LA, has an immediate opening for a full-time, board-certified/board-eligible Primary Care Physician. Monroe offers beautiful scenery with rich culture, southern hospitality, and renowned cuisine. The city hosts several festivals year-round, providing ample entertainment. The Monroe VA Clinic is dedicated to providing top-quality medical care to America's Veterans.

Highlights of this position include:

• Competitive Starting Salary: $215,000 - $230,000
• Work Schedule: Mon-Fri, 8am-4:30pm, with occasional call on weekends
• Provide comprehensive assessment, diagnostic work-up, and clinical intervention to scheduled and unscheduled patients in an outpatient setting
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to achieve patient, service, and medical center goals, promoting the Patient Aligned Care Team (PACT) model
• Identify normal vs. abnormal findings to establish diagnoses and respond to emergencies appropriately
• Order and evaluate diagnostic tests, recommend treatments, and refer patients as needed
• Initiate referrals and consultations to other clinical services
• Must be a U.S. Citizen; non-citizens considered if no U.S. Citizen candidates are available
• Hold a full, unrestricted license from any U.S. State
• Board Certified in Family Practice
