Family Practice/Primary Care Physician Assistant

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Family Practice/Primary Care Physician Assistant to join our team. The role involves leading clinic staff, ensuring quality patient care, maintaining compliance with regulations, performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, and providing patient education. The position requires experience in telehealth and the ability to work effectively in a virtual environment.

Responsibilities

1. Lead clinic staff in delivering excellent patient care and maintaining a positive work environment.
2. Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient charts.
3. Implement clinical protocols as outlined by the medical director and supervising physicians.
4. Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations, including HIPAA.
5. Order, perform, interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and educate patients on treatment plans.
6. Perform therapeutic procedures such as I&D, splinting, suturing, and wound care.
7. Analyze patient histories, symptoms, and diagnostic information to develop diagnoses.
8. Adhere to company core values and standards of operation.
9. Maintain positive relationships with patients, staff, and management.
10. Consult with patients via virtual communication channels.
11. Complete required preceptor training and participate in onboarding and training of new hires, especially in centers of excellence.
12. Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Telehealth Clinician.
