Job summary

Pillar Health, a division of Kenosha Community Health Center, is seeking a Family Practice Physician to provide comprehensive care in Southeast Wisconsin. You will treat patients of all ages, develop individualized care plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.

Requirements include an MD or DO, Wisconsin license, completion of a Family Medicine residency, board certification or eligibility, DEA and BLS, and at least 5 years of practice.

Qualifications

  • MD/DO degree from an accredited medical school.
  • Current Wisconsin Medical License.
  • Completion of an accredited Family Medicine residency.
  • Board certification or board eligibility in Family Medicine.
  • Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in family practice.
  • Current DEA registration.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive preventative, acute, and chronic care to patients across the lifespan.
  • Perform patient assessments, physical examinations, and medical history reviews.
  • Diagnose and manage acute and chronic health conditions.
  • Order, perform, and interpret appropriate diagnostic tests and imaging.
  • Prescribe medications, treatments, immunizations, and other therapies as appropriate.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment and follow-up plans.
  • Educate patients and families regarding medications, treatment options, disease prevention, healthy lifestyles, and management of chronic conditions.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care team members in the management of complex patients.
  • Participate in quality improvement efforts and support organizational standards for patient care, productivity, compliance and service.

Job description

Pillar Health, A Division of KCHC, is growing and looking to add an experienced Family Practice Physician to serve its patients in Southeast Wisconsin.

Position Summary

We are seeking a Physician to provide high quality, patient-centered care to patients of all ages, from birth through older adulthood. The Physician will independently assess, diagnose, and treat patients within their scope of practice while collaborating with interdisciplinary services and other care team support staff as needed.

Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive preventative, acute, and chronic care to patients across the lifespan, beginning at birth.
  • Perform patient assessments, physical examinations, and medical history reviews.

  • Order, perform, and interpret appropriate diagnostic tests and imaging.

Qualifications
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school.
  • Current Wisconsin Medical License.
  • Completion of an accredited residency program in Family Medicine or other appropriate primary care specialty providing training across the lifespan.
  • Board certified or board eligible in Family Medicine or other appropriate primary care specialty.
  • Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in family practice or primary care settings.
  • Current DEA registration for prescribing controlled substances.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Ability to provide care to patients of all ages, from newborns to elderly adults.
  • Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care.
