Job summary

Pillar Health, A Division of KCHC, is growing and looking to add an experienced Pediatrician to serve its patients in southeastern Wisconsin. This full-time position is based in Kenosha, WI at 4006 Washington Rd and offers a comprehensive benefits package.

You will deliver high-quality primary care to infants, children, and adolescents, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team and using an electronic health record. The role emphasizes growth, development, and preventive care.

Qualifications

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
  • Current Wisconsin Medical License.
  • Residency completed in Pediatrics.
  • Board certified or eligible in Pediatrics.
  • Minimum 5 years of clinical pediatrics experience.
  • Current DEA registration.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Ability to care for infants, children and adolescents.
  • Strong clinical assessment and communication skills.
  • Compassionate, patient-centered care commitment.

  • Provide comprehensive preventive, acute, and chronic pediatric care.
  • Perform well-child examinations, developmental assessments, physical examinations, and medical history reviews.
  • Diagnose and manage acute and chronic pediatric health conditions.
  • Monitor growth and development and identify developmental, behavioral, and health concerns.
  • Order and interpret appropriate diagnostic tests and imaging.
  • Prescribe medications, treatments, immunizations, and other therapies as appropriate.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment and follow-up plans.
  • Educate patients and families regarding growth and development, medications, treatment options, disease prevention, healthy lifestyles, and management of chronic conditions.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care team members in the management of complex patients.
  • Participate in quality improvement efforts and support organizational standards for patient care, productivity, compliance and service.

Position Summary

We are seeking a Pediatrician to provide high quality, patient-centered primary care to infants, children, and adolescents. The Pediatrician will independently assess, diagnose, and treat pediatric patients while partnering with interdisciplinary services and other care team support staff as needed.

Qualifications
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school.
  • Current Wisconsin Medical License.
  • Completion of an accredited residency program in Pediatrics.
  • Board certified or board eligible in Pediatrics.
  • Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in pediatrics or a primary care pediatric setting.
  • Current DEA registration for prescribing controlled substances.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Ability to provide care to infants, children and adolescents.
  • Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care.
