Alomere Health’s Alexandria Clinic Family Practice is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse or Certified Medical Assistant to support providers in outpatient care. The role includes injections, medications administration, patient rooming, charting in EMR, and coordinating care with patients and families.

This part-time position (0.9 FTE) offers full benefits, health/dental/vision, a retirement plan, and a health clinic for employees.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Practical Nursing or Medical Assisting program.
• Current MN LPN or CMA license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsabilités

• Meet, maintain, and follow Meaningful Use, PQRS, MN community Measures requirements and other quality initiatives.
• Prepare and administer injections, immunizations, and medications.
• Administer treatments as prescribed by Provider.
• Submit appropriate charges for services rendered and document in EMR.
• Coordinate patient care and communicate with families and providers.
• Assist in emergent situations and manage patient flow and safety.
