Alomere Health's Alexandria Clinic Family Practice seeks an LPN or CMA to support outpatient care under supervision. You will participate in patient care planning, administer medications and injections, and document in the EMR.

The role requires current MN LPN or CMA licensure, BLS, and the ability to work in a fast-paced clinic with a focus on patient experience and quality measures.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Practical Nursing or Medical Assisting program.
• Current MN Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or CMA.
• BLS certification.
• Knowledge of Epic EMR.
• Basic knowledge of MS Office.

Responsabilités

• Support Provider in outpatient nursing care.
• Meet, maintain, and follow Meaningful Use, PQRS, MN community Measures requirements and other quality initiatives.
• Prepare and administer injections, immunizations, and medications.
• Document patient interactions in the electronic medical record.
• Assist in emergent situations using crash cart and defibrillator resources.
• Coordinate patient care and improve patient experience and flow.
• Foster professional relationships with patients, families and staff.

LPN/CMAs participate in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care, based on objectives, standards, and policies of nursing. They have the ability to handle a diverse range of situations and responsibilities, which is their primary duty. LPN/CMAs are responsible for rendering nursing care in an assigned area in terms of individualized patient needs, according to conformance with recognized nursing techniques, procedures, and established standards based on the scope of practice, under the direction/delegation of a Registered Nurse or Provider.Essential ResponsibilitiesThe following description of responsibilities to be performed is not intended to be all-inclusive.
