Job Opportunity: Geriatric/Primary Care Physician

Trinity Health PACE and Mercy LIFE of Massachusetts are seeking a Board Certified Geriatric Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Family Medicine physician for a full-time role in West Springfield, MA. This position offers an excellent opportunity for experienced physicians to join an exceptional PACE program dedicated to serving seniors with dignity and respect.

About PACE

The Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) is designed to support seniors aged 55 and older who are certified to need nursing home care but wish to remain in the community. PACE provides comprehensive medical and supportive services, coordinating care to help seniors maintain independence in their homes.

Job Description

• Serve as Outpatient PCP and skilled facility physician
• Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, with approximately seven on-call days (evenings/weekends) for telephone triage
• Patient load varies from 2-8 per day
• Demonstrate alignment with Trinity Health and PACE mission, values, and behaviors
• Lead by example, fostering a warm, collaborative, and calm environment
• Contribute to a shared, team-oriented culture and achieve organizational goals
• Provide primary medical care, including assessments, care planning, and procedures, in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams
• Must have a valid driver's license, proof of insurance, and transportation
• Use EMR system: TruChart

Candidate Requirements

• Not accepting new graduates; minimum of 1 year experience with elderly or frail populations
• Interested in permanent employment (no locums)
• Open to J1 visa candidates

Compensation & Benefits

Range: $208,000 - $241,000, depending on experience. Benefits include health/dental/vision insurance, disability coverage, 403b, paid time off, mileage reimbursement, and comprehensive orientation.

• Board Certified in Geriatric Medicine (Preferred)
• MA license (or willing to obtain) (Required)
• CDS Certification & DEA registration (Prior to start, Required)
