Job Overview Family Medicine Physician:
Compensation: $165,000/year
Location: Bronx, NY
Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, and one flexible weekday, 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM

Our client is hiring a Family Medicine Physician in Bronx, NY to provide comprehensive primary and preventive care to a diverse patient population. This full-time position offers a flexible three-day schedule, supporting work-life balance within a community-focused setting. The role involves chronic disease management, patient education, and close collaboration with a multidisciplinary care team, with experience using eClinicalWorks (ECW) considered a plus.

Responsibilities as the Family Medicine Physician:

• Comprehensive Care: Diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions across all age groups.
• Clinical Decision-Making: Prescribe medications, order diagnostic tests, and interpret results to guide treatment.
• Care Coordination: Refer to specialists and ensure continuity of care through follow-up and collaboration.
• Documentation & Monitoring: Maintain accurate electronic health records and track patient outcomes.
• Patient Education: Communicate treatment plans and promote preventive health strategies to patients and families.

Qualifications for the Family Medicine Physician:

• Education: Medical degree (M.D. or D.O.) from an accredited institution and completion of a Family Medicine residency program are required.
• Licensure: Active and unrestricted medical license in the state of New York is required.
• Certification: Board Certification in Family Medicine is required.
• Experience: At least 1-2 years of post-residency experience in a primary care or outpatient setting.
• Technical Skills: Experience with eClinicalWorks (ECW) is preferred.
• Skills & Attributes: Strong clinical judgment, communication, and collaboration skills with a commitment to serving diverse communities.
• Language Requirement: Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred.
