Job description

We are an established medical practice serving Cincinnati, Indianapolis, and the surrounding areas, specializing in evaluations for patients with swallowing disorders. We are currently seeking additional physicians to join our team. Both full-time and part-time positions are available, and physicians with various levels of experience are encouraged to apply. During training, compensation will be provided.

Compensation and Benefits

1. Annual income for working 4 to 5 days a week ranges from approximately $160,000 to $225,000 or more, depending on volume.
2. Benefits include health coverage, a 401(k) retirement plan, and an educational stipend.
3. No weekend or night call is required.
4. Malpractice coverage, including tail coverage, is paid for by the practice. Over 19 years and 400,000 evaluations, we have not had any malpractice inquiries or actions.

About Midwest Dysphagia Consultants

Our mission is to provide professional dysphagia consultations, including modified barium swallow studies, for patients with swallowing difficulties. These services are delivered via a mobile unit, as pictured on our website.

Services and Scheduling

Various facilities, private offices, and homebound patients request swallowing studies from our mobile unit. Requests are routed through our office staff and scheduled within 24 to 72 hours, with same-day appointments when possible, depending on volume and location. We aim to have our staff home between 4:00 and 5:00 PM daily.
