Job description

We are an established medical practice serving Indianapolis and the surrounding area, specializing in evaluations for patients with swallowing disorders. We are currently seeking additional physicians to join our team. Both full-time and part-time positions are available, and physicians with various levels of experience are encouraged to apply. During training, physicians will be compensated.

About Our Practice

Our practice is part of a network with sister practices in New England and Texas. Professional Imaging was founded in Houston in March 2005 and has since expanded across eastern Texas. We serve approximately 2,300 patients monthly with a staff of 70, including physicians, speech-language pathologists, and support staff.

Benefits and Compensation

• Annual income ranging from approximately $160,000 to $225,000 or more, depending on volume, for working 4 to 5 days a week.

Our Mission and Services

Midwest Dysphagia Consultants aims to provide professional dysphagia assessments, including modified barium swallow studies, utilizing a mobile unit (pictured on our website).

Work Environment and Workflow

Physicians and speech-language pathologists request swallowing studies from our mobile unit at various facilities, private offices, and for homebound patients. Requests are routed through our office staff and scheduled within 24 to 72 hours, often on the same day depending on volume and location. Our goal is to have staff home by 4:00 or 5:00 PM daily.
