Job description

We are an established medical practice serving Cincinnati, Indianapolis, and the surrounding areas, specializing in evaluations for patients with swallowing disorders. We are currently seeking additional physicians to join our team. Both full-time and part-time positions are available, and physicians with various levels of experience are encouraged to apply. During training, compensation will be provided.

The practice is part of a network with sister practices in New England and Texas.

Compensation and Benefits

1. Annual income for working 4 to 5 days a week ranges approximately from $160,000 to $225,000 or more, depending on volume.
2. Benefits include health coverage, a 401(k) retirement plan, and an educational stipend.
3. No weekend or night call responsibilities.
4. Malpractice coverage, including tail coverage, is paid for by the practice. In over 400,000 evaluations over 19 years, there have been no malpractice inquiries or actions.

About Midwest Dysphagia Consultants

Our mission is to provide professional dysphagia consultations, including modified barium swallow studies, for patients with swallowing difficulties. These consultations are delivered via a mobile unit, as shown on our website.

Services and Scheduling

Physicians and speech-language pathologists request swallowing studies from various facilities, private offices, and homebound patients. Requests are routed through our office staff and scheduled within 24 to 72 hours, with same-day scheduling possible depending on volume and location. Our goal is to ensure staff are home between 4:00 and 5:00 PM daily.
