We are an established medical practice serving Indianapolis and the surrounding area, specializing in evaluations for patients with swallowing disorders. We are currently seeking additional physicians to join our team. Both full-time and part-time positions are available, and physicians with various levels of experience are encouraged to apply. During training, physicians will be compensated.
The practice is part of a network with sister practices in New England and Texas. Professional Imaging started in Houston in March 2005 and has expanded throughout eastern Texas. Our monthly census is approximately 2,300 patients, supported by a staff of 70, including physicians, speech-language pathologists, and support staff.
Benefits and Compensation: Working 4 to 5 days a week, annual income is approximately $160,000 to $225,000 or more, depending on volume. Benefits include health insurance, a 401(k) retirement plan, and an educational stipend. There is no weekend or night call, and malpractice insurance, including tail coverage, is paid for by the practice. Over 19 years and 400,000 evaluations, we have not had any malpractice inquiries or actions.
Practice Focus: Midwest Dysphagia Consultants aims to provide professional dysphagia consultations, including modified barium swallow studies, using a mobile unit as shown on our website.
Our mobile unit facilitates swallowing studies for various facilities, private offices, and homebound patients. Requests are routed through our office staff and scheduled within 24 to 72 hours, often the same day depending on volume and location. Our goal is for staff to be home between 4:00 and 5:00 PM daily.
