Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Physician opportunity in Buckeye, AZ
We are seeking a Family Medicine/Internal Medicine Physician to join our growing team providing comprehensive primary health care services through the identification, management, and referral of health problems, as well as the maintenance of patients' health via preventive care and health promotion.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
- Report to the Chief Medical Officer (CMO)
- Provide accessible and available health services
- Educate and communicate effectively with patients regarding diagnosis, treatment, preventive measures, and healthcare system navigation
- Deliver treatment consistent with clinical impressions and working diagnoses
- Ensure accurate, complete, and timely electronic medical record entries
- Transfer information appropriately for continuity of care
- Evaluate patients in a timely, courteous, and professional manner
- Complete all required documentation for billing purposes
- Demonstrate good customer service to both external and internal customers
- Consult, refer, and collaborate with other healthcare disciplines involved in patient care
- Advise management on performance issues of medical auxiliary personnel, including M.A.s
- Perform duties of other clinical personnel as necessary
- Participate in rotating call duties for emergencies during evenings, weekends, and holidays as assigned
- Attend CME programs (up to 40 hours annually) and provide proof of completion; maintain credentialing and privileging in good standing
ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Graduate of an accredited medical school
- Completion of an accredited US Family Practice/Internal Medicine Residency
- Board certified
- Valid Arizona medical license
- Valid DEA certificate
- Current BLS certification
- Strong understanding of clinical methods and techniques
- Ability to effectively interact with patients, colleagues, and the public
- Basic proficiency in business English, spelling, and punctuation
- Basic computer skills
- Valid Arizona driver's license

NONESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Three years of experience in community health
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Experience with Electronic Health Records
