Job Opportunity: Physician at Midwest Dysphagia Consultants & Professional Imaging

We are an established medical practice serving Indianapolis and the surrounding area, specializing in evaluations for patients with swallowing disorders. We are currently seeking additional physicians to join our team. Both full-time and part-time positions are available, and physicians with various levels of experience are encouraged to apply. During training, physicians will be compensated.

The practice is part of a network with sister practices in New England and Texas. Professional Imaging was founded in Houston in March 2005 and has expanded throughout eastern Texas. Our monthly patient census is approximately 2,300, supported by a staff of 70, including physicians, speech-language pathologists, and support staff.

Benefits and Compensation:

• Annual income for working 4 to 5 days a week ranges from approximately $160,000 to $225,000 or more, depending on volume.
• Health insurance, a 401(k) retirement plan, and an educational stipend are provided.
• No weekend or night call responsibilities.
• Malpractice insurance, including tail coverage, is covered by the practice.
• Over 19 years and 400,000 evaluations, we have not had any malpractice inquiries or actions.

Our Mission: Midwest Dysphagia Consultants aims to provide professional dysphagia consultations, including modified barium swallow studies, utilizing a mobile unit. These services are requested by physicians and speech-language pathologists for patients who are private, facility-based, or homebound. Requests are routed through our office and scheduled within 24 to 72 hours, often the same day, depending on volume and location. Our goal is for staff to be home by 4:00 or 5:00 PM daily.
