Qualifications

  • Board-Certified or board eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine-Pediatrics.

Job description

Details:
  • Outpatient FQHC setting.
  • Guaranteed Base Salary plus Quarterly Incentive Potential.
  • Dedicated Administrative Time.
  • EMR – Athena.
  • On Call - minimal phone calls only; approximately >=1:10.
  • Paid Holidays Off.
  • Daily patient load ~18 patients/day.
  • Looking to reduce work schedule to 4 days/week.
Education:
  • Must have successfully completed medical training at a four (4) year, accredited Medical School and received an M.D. or D.O. degree.
Licensure/Certification:
  • Must be licensed to practice Medicine in South Carolina.
  • Must be Board-Certified or board eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine-Pediatrics. If board eligible, must become board-certified within one year of initial hire date and maintain certification throughout employment.
  • Must be BLS CPR certified.
Knowledge and Skills:
  • Extensive knowledge of techniques and skills necessary to diagnose and treat diseases and injuries.
  • Working knowledge of administrative practices, rules, regulations, and policies governing medical and nursing care.
  • Knowledge of public health and preventative care guidelines.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to relate with warmth and compassion to patients and co-workers.
  • Ability to supervise professional and non-professional staff effectively.
