Job summary

Behavioral Health Network, Inc. seeks a Family Partner to join our Mobile Crisis Intervention team in Western Massachusetts.

The role focuses on providing peer support to families in crisis, collaborating with clinicians, and guiding caregivers through the crisis and stabilization process. You will help families access services across systems, maintain compassionate engagement, and ensure timely documentation while protecting confidentiality.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a human-services field or higher with related experience.
  • Associate degree in a human-services field with related experience.
  • High school diploma or GED/HiSET with related experience acceptable.

Responsibilities

  • Provide peer support to parents and caregivers during behavioral health crises.
  • Partner with MCI clinicians during crisis response and assist in assessment and stabilization planning.
  • Offer calm, culturally responsive support while maintaining professional boundaries.
  • Help families identify strengths and coping strategies for safety and stabilization.
  • Navigate behavioral health, medical, educational, and community systems after a crisis.
  • Refer families to peer support and community resources with warm handoffs.
  • Support follow-up outreach and communicate evolving needs to the clinical team.
  • Advocate for the family’s voice in collaboration with providers and schools.
