Job summary

Child & Family Services Inc in Fall River, MA is hiring a Family Partner to provide support and advocacy to parents/caregivers and facilitate peer groups for caregivers. The role involves engaging families in home and community resources to address goals in the youth's treatment plan and ICP, and teaching networking with providers.

You will report to the Senior Family Partner and Program Director, collaborate with schools and courts as needed, and deliver culturally and linguistically

Qualifications

• Proven ability to engage families in mapping resources and planning
• Strong interpersonal and cross-cultural communication skills
• Ability to coordinate with multiple systems (education, healthcare, social services)

Responsibilities

• Assist families in understanding CSA scope and family roles
• Engage parents/caregivers in home and community resource planning
• Educate families on networking and securing treatment providers
• Develop family goals within ICP and contribute to youth treatment planning
• Attend school meetings and participate in IEP development
• Support families in attending outpatient appointments and attending relevant meetings
• Maintain regular face-to-face contact with guardians/youth
• Create comprehensive narrative assessments highlighting strengths, needs, and cultural identities
• Deliver strength-based, culturally and linguistically appropriate services
• Promote linkage with outpatient providers and systems of care
