Job summary

Sage-Haus is seeking a part-time Household Manager & Family Assistant with Meal Prep Support in Norwell, MA. The role covers organization, meal planning, laundry, errands, and occasional childcare, with a proactive, tech‑savvy mindset and excellent communication.

The position offers a flexible schedule Monday–Friday, 25 hours per week, with compensation of $30–$35 per hour based on experience. Start ASAP; mileage reimbursement provided for work-related driving.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Maintain a smoke-free environment.

• Reliable transportation with mileage reimbursement for work-related driving.
• Strong tech proficiency with shared calendars and task management.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain practical household organization systems.
• Complete daily resets and prep for cleaners.
• Weekly fridge reset.
• Light tidying and vacuuming in high-traffic areas.
• Manage seasonal wardrobe and gear swaps.
• Declutter and coordinate donations/sales and pickups.
• Support event preparation and hosting.
• Assist with packing for family travel.
• Change batteries and replace smoke detector batteries as needed.
• Follow 3-week rotating meal plan and expand as needed.
• Coordinate with virtual advisor on weekly meal plan and grocery list.
• Batch cook 3–4 dinners per week with leftovers.
• Prepare snacks and handle grocery shopping/pickups.
• Receive, unpack, and organize grocery deliveries.
• Kitchen cleanup and maintenance.
• Wash, dry, fold, and organize laundry.
• Iron/steam and care for special garments.
• Manage linen rotation and tidy laundry areas.
• Maintain running household supply lists.
• Manage orders/subscriptions (Amazon/Costco/Walmart+).
• Handle deliveries, returns, and organize gifts as needed.
• Tackle school paperwork backlog and organize calendar.
• Unpack backpacks and maintain system for school items.
• Prepare backpacks, snacks, and clothing for next day.
• Provide occasional light supervision or backup childcare.
