Job summary

Santa Barbara Management seeks a Family Office Controller in our Chicago office. You will lead investment and fund accounting across Asseta and QuickBooks, reconcile capital accounts, and prepare investor reporting in collaboration with the Family CFO and tax team.

You will own capital calls, distributions, and maintain the chart of accounts for complex entities, including private foundations. This role requires GAAP-level knowledge and comfort across multiple systems, with a focus on automation

Qualifications

• GAAP-level investment and fund accounting knowledge.
• Experience in fund/investment accounting at a management company.
• Comfort across multiple GL/reporting systems and fund structures.

Responsibilities

• Own capital account maintenance and allocations; reconcile with fund data; coordinate investor reporting.
• Draft/process capital calls and distributions; track LP commitments and contributions; manage wire instructions.
