Job summary

NYU Langone Health’s Vascular & Interventional Radiology team in Manhattan seeks a Per Diem Family Nurse Practitioner to deliver comprehensive nursing care within a collaborative practice agreement with a designated physician.

The role involves planning, coordinating, and evaluating patient care, supporting research when applicable, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to ensure quality outcomes and patient safety.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in nursing required.
• Active NYS Registered Nurse license required.
• Nurse Practitioner certification (ANCC or other specialty) required.
• Basic Life Support certification required.

Responsibilities

• Plans and coordinates care to meet patient needs per protocols and standards.
• Monitors cost effectiveness and performance indicators for the service.
• Assists in research protocol development and evaluation when applicable.
• Collaborates with nursing and other disciplines to implement clinical studies.
• Prescribes medications, equipment, home health services per practice protocol.
• Works with attending physician to develop and implement care plans.
