CARIN Alliance in Guthrie, KY is seeking experienced Family Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants to provide high-quality urgent and primary care in a walk-in setting. Role involves diagnosing, treating, and coordinating care across ages, performing assessments and procedures, supervising onsite labs and imaging, and supporting emergency care with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
• Active state license and board certification (FNP or PA-C).
• Current DEA and DOT certification or willingness to obtain upon hire.
• Current BLS certification.
• Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, high-stress environments and provide leadership during emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, treat, and manage a variety of acute and chronic conditions across all age groups.
• Perform medical assessments, procedures (e.g., laceration repair, injections, abscess drainage), and follow-up care.
• Coordinate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes and maintain clinical standards.
• Provide excellent patient service, education, and support during emergencies.
• Oversee and support onsite lab work, x-rays, and other direct access services as applicable.
• Participate in policy development, staff education, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with licensing, certification, and accreditation standards.
• Mentor and guide healthcare staff to deliver professional, compassionate care.
