Job summary

Marathon Health in Richmond, VA, seeks a licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team delivering relationship-based primary care with an emphasis on prevention and wellness.

You will provide preventive care, chronic disease management and urgent visits in a patient-centered model, with appointments ranging from 20 to 60 minutes and a non-production compensation structure.

Qualifications

• Active license & current ANCC or AANP board certification required.
• Independent practice provider preferred, where applicable per State regulation.
• Federal DEA number preferred; may be required for full prescribing ability.
• CPR/BLS certification required at time of start date.
• Independent family practice experience including routine wellness care, chronic care management, and urgent visit, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide prevention, chronic disease management and health education.
• Offer wholistic care within the patient-physician relationship.
• Conduct routine wellness visits and urgent care as allowed by state regulations.
