The University of Colorado College of Nursing seeks a full-time Family Nurse Practitioner to provide integrated primary care at the Community Health Clinic on the Anschutz Medical Campus. This clinic-based faculty position blends direct patient care with clinical precepting and leadership responsibilities within the IRC-Clinical Series.

The role requires a graduate degree in nursing with FNP certification, a commitment to inclusive practice, and ability to work onsite in Aurora, CO.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree in nursing from an accredited institution.
• Current Board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP).
• Current RN and APN licensures; CO licensure by date of hire.

Responsibilities

• Serves as a primary care provider for the clinic's patient population.
• Performs comprehensive patient assessments, including physical exams, evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment.
• Performs outpatient primary care procedures within scope of practice.
• Maintains procedural competency and adheres to evidence-based practice standards and documentation requirements.
• Completes clinical documentation accurately and in a timely manner within the EHR.
• Functions as a clinical preceptor for advanced practice nursing students.
• Participates in clinic marketing, outreach, and patient recruitment efforts.
