Job summary

Premise Health is seeking a Full Time Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to provide care at our Frisco Health Center in Frisco, TX. Hours are Mon-Fri 6:30am-6:00pm and Sat 7:30am-12:00pm, with strong emphasis on compassionate, guideline-based care.

You will conduct exams, manage treatment plans, order tests, and educate patients while collaborating with physicians to ensure comprehensive care. A minimum of 3 years’ NP experience in ambulatory or related settings is required.

Qualifications

Maintains state RN licenses to practice.
Maintains Nurse Practitioner licenses to practice.
Maintains State Prescriptive Authority where applicable.
Federal DEA license (matching each state of practice as applicable).
State Narcotic/Controlled Substance license if required in your state.
Current national certification (ANCC or AANP).
Master’s Degree in Science of Nursing (if Master Degree in Science certificate does not state Nursing).
Current certification with hands-on training in BLS; ACLS may be required depending on scope of services.
At least three years of clinical experience as an NP in ambulatory care, occupational health, family practice or ED setting.

Responsibilities

Conducts physical exams and preventive health measures per guidelines.
Performs procedures such as injections, suturing, wound care, and infection management.
Develops patient care plans, records progress, and ensures continuity of care.
Educates patients on treatment plans, health maintenance, and development.
Orders and interprets diagnostic tests to assess clinical conditions.
Collaborates with physicians and healthcare teams for comprehensive care.
Prescribes or recommends treatments, including medications and therapies.
Refers patients to specialists or physicians as needed.
Maintains patient health records and ensures documentation accuracy.
Educates and coaches nursing staff on best practices.
Performs other duties as assigned.
