Job summary

SEMRHI in Purvis, MS seeks a licensed Nurse Practitioner to deliver primary health care in alignment with established protocols. You will maintain patient records, collaborate with physicians, and participate in ongoing education to ensure high-quality care.

This role may involve rotation across clinics as needed to support operations. The ideal candidate holds an accredited NP program graduate credential, MS NP licensure with approved protocol, and BLS certification, with 2+ years of experience

Qualifications

• Licensed as an Advanced Practice Nurse in Mississippi with approved protocol.
• Two plus years of experience preferred.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification as required by Mississippi Board of Nursing.

Job Responsibilities

Qualifications: Job Requirements

• Registered Nurse who is currently licensed to practice in the State of Mississippi
• Graduate of an accredited nurse practitioner program and licensed by the State of Mississippi with an approved protocol
• Registered as an Advanced Practice Nurse and Registered Nurse by the Mississippi Board of Nursing
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association
• Provider skills are maintained by attending continuing education meetings as required by the Mississippi Board of Nursing
• Two plus years of experience is preferred
• Maintain accurate clinical records, both written and electronic, in a timely manner
• Provide primary health care services in accordance with accepted standards of care and approved protocols
• Exercise best clinical judgment in the provision of care
• Consult with appropriate provider in those areas of medical practice which requires special judgment, consultation or individual discretion
• Report any events or circumstances which hinders delivery of quality health care
• Participates in community service activities
