Job Summary and Responsibilities

Under the supervision of the attending physician, renders FNP services under the California guidelines. Supports the educational needs of Mercy Community Clinic as needed. As a Nurse Practitioner the incumbent delivers services in a team‑based patient‑centered primary care clinic serving insured and uninsured children and adults with a special emphasis on care for persons who experience barriers to accessing care due to income, language, cultural and social barriers. The incumbent must be willing to work a flexible schedule when circumstances necessitate and participate in on‑call rotation with other clinic providers. The incumbent will report to the Director Rural Clinics.

Job Requirements

• Minimum one year of experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner in an outpatient clinic setting
• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing and FNP
• RN, NP, BLS and DEA certifications
• Active licensure as a registered nurse in California or possession of a temporary California RN license (TL) and licensed as a Nurse Practitioner in good standing from the California State Board of Nursing
• National Nurse Practitioner Certification in good standing from either the AANP or ANCC

Pay Range

$70.32 - $104.08 per hour
