Job summary

Under supervision of the attending physician, the Nurse Practitioner delivers FNP services in a patient-centered primary care clinic in Mt. Shasta, CA.

The role supports Mercy Community Clinic's educational needs and collaborates with a team to serve insured and uninsured patients with attention to barriers related to income, language, culture, and social factors. The incumbent will work a flexible schedule, participate in on-call rotations, and report to the Director, Rural Clinics.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner in an outpatient clinic setting.
• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing and FNP.
• RN, NP, BLS, and DEA certifications; active CA RN license or TL with CA NP license.

Responsibilities

• Deliver FNP services under California guidelines in a team-based primary care clinic.
• Participate in an on-call rotation with other clinic providers and support Mercy Community Clinic's education needs.

Job Summary and Responsibilities

Under the supervision of the attending physician, renders FNP services under the California guidelines. Supports the educational needs of Mercy Community Clinic as needed.

Position Summary

As a Nurse Practitioner the incumbent delivers services in a team-based, patient-centered primary care clinic serving insured and uninsured children and adults with a special emphasis on care for persons who experience barriers to accessing care due to income, language, cultural and social barriers. The incumbent must be willing to work a flexible schedule when circumstances necessitate and participate in an on-call rotation with other clinic providers. The incumbent will report to the Director, Rural Clinics.

Experience

• Minimum one year of experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner in an outpatient clinic setting

Job Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing and FNP

Licensure

• RN, NP, BLS, and DEA certifications
• Active licensure as a registered nurse in California or possession of a temporary California RN license (TL) and licensed as a Nurse Practitioner in good standing from the California State Board of Nursing
• National Nurse Practitioner Certification in good standing from either the AANP (American Academy of Nurse Practitioners) or ANCC (American Nurse Credentialing Center)
