Company Description: PREMIER MEDICINE PC provides urgent care and primary care services to the Livonia community, operating seven days a week to support patients with flexible access to healthcare. The practice offers flu shots, laboratory services, X-rays, school exams, and treatment for minor fractures and burns. With a focus on internal medicine, the clinic serves a wide range of patient needs across ages and conditions. Role Description

The Family Nurse Practitioner is a full-time, on-site role based in Hamtramck, MI. The practitioner will conduct comprehensive patient assessments, diagnose and treat common acute and chronic conditions, and provide primary and urgent care services within established clinical protocols. Daily responsibilities include ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, prescribing medications, administering preventive services such as vaccinations, and coordinating follow-up care. The role involves educating patients and families on treatment plans, wellness, and disease prevention, while collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality, efficient care. The practitioner will document all encounters accurately in the medical record and support clinic workflow to ensure timely and safe patient service.

Qualifications

• Clinical practice skills as a Family Nurse Practitioner, with current national certification and appropriate state licensure.
• Strong foundation in Nursing, including patient assessment, care planning, and evidence-based clinical decision-making.
• Experience in Primary Care, including management of chronic diseases, preventive care, and health promotion across the lifespan.
• Competence in Urgent Care and general Medicine, including triage, treatment of minor injuries and illnesses, and use of diagnostic services.
• Graduate degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program (MSN or DNP preferred).
• Current BLS certification; ACLS and pediatric experience are beneficial.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient education skills, with the ability to work effectively in a diverse, fast-paced setting.
• Ability to work some evenings and weekends as needed and to collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and support staff.
