Job summary

MI Express Urgent & Primary Care is seeking Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants to join our team in Canton and Ann Arbor, Michigan. You will provide high-quality urgent and primary care, with mentorship and exposure to multiple specialties in a collaborative setting.

The role offers ongoing professional growth, opportunities to expand procedural skills, and a supportive team focused on quality patient care in modern facilities with on-site lab and telemedicine.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited FNP or PA program with current certification.
• Active Michigan NP or PA license is required.
• NCCPA or ANCC certification and DEA registration are required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute and chronic medical conditions.
• Adult wellness visits and preventive care.
• Management of urgent care conditions and interpretation of labs, X-rays, and EKGs.
• Perform common office procedures including joint/soft tissue injections and IV therapy.
• Coordinate continuity of care and maintain medical documentation.

What You’ll Do

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute and chronic medical conditions
• Adult wellness visits and preventive care
• Management of urgent care conditions
• Interpret laboratory studies, digital X-rays, and 12-lead EKGs
• Perform common office procedures including:
• Joint and soft tissue injections
• IV therapy and hydration + more
• Coordinate continuity of care
• Maintain timely, accurate medical documentation
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based medicine

Qualifications

Required

• Graduate of an accredited FNP or PA program
• Active Michigan NP or PA License
• NCCPA or ANCC Certification
• Active DEA Registration
• Minimum one year of Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine experience preferred
• ACLS and BLS

Preferred

• Primary Care experience
• FMCSA/DOT Certification (or willingness to obtain within 3 months of hire)
• Experience interpreting EKGs and X-rays
• Ability to work independently while collaborating within a team environment
