Summary

Pine Belt Mental Healthcare Resources is currently seeking to fill a Family Nurse Practitioner position for their residential crisis stabilization facility in Gulfport, MS. The Family Nurse Practitioner provides medical care for individuals residing at the crisis stabilization facility. Duties may include medication dispensing and monitoring, medication skills training, giving injections, working with pharmacies. This position works with the individual, other professional medical providers, and clinicians to establish culturally competent service plans and treatment services. The Family Nurse Practitioner works outside of a 4-wall model to integrate a variety of disciplines and community services for the benefit of the patient. This Family Nurse Practitioner position is currently a full-time position and will also have some on-call duties. For 50 years, Pine Belt Mental Healthcare Resources has served individuals throughout the Pine Belt. Through an extensive continuum of care, we strive to enable adults with serious mental illnesses, children with serious emotional disturbances, and individuals with an addiction or developmental disability to live, work, learn, and participate fully in their communities. Our eighteen-county service area includes Amite, Covington, Forrest, Franklin, Greene, Hancock, Harrison, Jeff Davis, Jones, Lamar, Lawrence, Marion, Pear River, Perry, Pike, Stone, Walthall and Wayne.
