Job summary

MainStreet Family Care is seeking a Floating Family Nurse Practitioner to work across multiple clinics in South Georgia and Northwest Florida. You will provide patient-focused care across urgent and primary care, telemedicine, and occupational medicine, delivering leadership in a fast-paced setting and collaborating with clinic teams.

The ideal candidate will be flexible across sites, comfortable high-volume workflows, and capable of evaluating diverse patient cases including children.

Qualifications

• Must hold Family Nurse Practitioner Board Certification.
• MSN or higher education required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience using EMR and Microsoft Office suite preferred.

Responsibilities

• Minor surgery (toenail removal, foreign object removal, etc.).
• Suturing and splinting as part of urgent care.
• General orthopedic evaluations/management and x-ray review.
• Care for general dermatology, eye problems, and EKG interpretations.
• Provide telemedicine and occupational medicine services.
• Treat children of all ages and offer leadership in busy clinics.

Floating Family Nurse Practitioner – South Georgia/Northwest Florida

MainStreet Family Care is growing and we're looking to hire a fast, fun, and friendly Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to workacross multiple clinics in your area!)! You will provide patient-focusedcare to help our patients feel better FAST! Boom! Services provided to the public include urgent care, primary medical care, telemedicine, and occupational medicine. The ideal applicant will be flexible working with teams in different clinics and providing leadership in a high volume and fast-paced urgent care environment.

Responsibilities:

• Minor surgery (toenail removal, foreign object removal, etc.)
• Suturing
• Splinting
• General Orthopedic evaluations/management
• Review of x-rays (to be over-read by Radiologist, too)
• General Dermatology
• General eye problems
• General EKG interpretations
• Emergency management skills
• General GYN expertise
• Treating children of all ages
• Occupational medicine
• Telemedicine

Schedule:

• Shifts determined two months in advance
• MainStreet Clinic Hours
  • Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
  • Saturday and Sunday 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
• KidsStreet Clinic Hours (Montgomery, AL, Pelham, AL, Mobile, AL, Tallahassee, FL, Gainesville, FL, Wake Forest, NC, Greenville, NC, Chapel Hill, NC, Wilmington, NC, Winston-Salem, NC, Athens, GA, Augusta, GA and Columbus, GA only)
  • Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
  • Saturday and Sunday 9:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m.
• Work hours are subject to change based on company needs, training, floaters, etc.

Qualifications:

• Family Nurse Practitioner Board Certification required
• MSN, or higher education required
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience working in EMR and Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, etc.) preferred
