Job summary

Doctors Urgent Care Group is seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our urgent care team in Illinois. You will examine patients, order diagnostics, diagnose illnesses, and propose treatments for chronic and infectious diseases.

You will prescribe medications, maintain records, educate patients and families, and help advance professional knowledge through ongoing CME. We offer generous compensation, comprehensive benefits, and a supportive work environment.

Qualifications

• Master's degree and valid FNP/PA license.
• Experience in family practice or urgent care settings is preferred.
• Excellent communication and professional ethics required.

Responsibilities

• Examine patients and their medical records.
• Order and study diagnostic tests (blood tests, X-rays etc.).
• Diagnose health conditions and illnesses.
• Propose treatments for chronic and infectious diseases.
• Prescribe medications.
• Maintain accurate records and schedules.
• Inform patients about health conditions and prescribed medications.
• Educate patients and their family members on diseases, epidemics, and prevention.
• Oversee patients' overall health.
• Promote good health practices.
