Job summary

A national non-profit agency is seeking a Family Model Provider in the Rutherford County area to support individuals with developmental and/or physical disabilities. This role involves providing a safe and comfortable home, assisting with transportation and self-help skills, and establishing supportive relationships. Applicants must have a High School Diploma/GED, a valid driver’s license, and prior experience as a Direct Support Professional. This is an independently contracted position with tax-exempt income from room and board.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Previous experience as a Direct Support Professional required.
• Open to supervisory visits in your home.
• Must complete trainings through Community Options and allow supervisory visits at home.

We are seeking someone in the Rutherford County area, preferably Lavergne, Smyrna or Murfreesboro. We are seeking someone who is available to provide a safe and comfortable home, while ensuring the basic physical and emotional needs required for our individuals to live a high-quality life. You must have the ability to establish a comfortable, supportive, and genuine relationship with the individual you house and support. This independently contracted position will provide a 24/7 family-like setting for an individual.

This role will help care for a young man in need of assistance with fostering independence in the area of transportation and self-help skills.

REQUIREMENTS:

• High School Diploma/GED
• Valid Driver's License
• Previous experience working as a Direct Support Professional is required
• Will need to successfully complete trainings through Community Options
• Must be open to supervisory visits in your home

Our FamilyModel Providers are contracted and reimbursed at a per diem rate PLUS they receive monthly room and board from the individual they support – this income is tax exempt.
