Job summary

Britt Medical Search is seeking a BE/BC Family Medicine Physician to join a Western Wisconsin Family Medicine Residency Program's core faculty. You will precept residents 4–5 half-days weekly, maintain your own continuity clinic 2–3 half-days, and choose an OB option or no OB.

Inpatient obstetrics faculty enjoy a four-day week; others have a 35-contact-hour full-time schedule. Inpatient call ~6 weeks/year if not doing OB.

Qualifications

• Board certified or board eligible in Family Medicine.
• Completion of an accredited graduate medical training program.
• Genuine passion for teaching and mentoring resident physicians.
• Graduate medical education or faculty development experience preferred, but not required.
• Eligible for medical licensure throughout the organization’s multi-state service region.
• Ability to supervise advanced practice clinicians.
• Willingness to provide outreach services as needed.

Responsibilities

• Teach and mentor residents in clinical and didactic settings.
• Lead simulation, procedural workshops, case discussions, lectures, and other educational activities.
• Serve as a resident advisor and provide longitudinal mentorship.
• Participate in weekly faculty meetings and curriculum development.
• Contribute to the Clinical Competency Committee and Program Evaluation Committee.
• Pursue scholarly activities including quality improvement, research, curriculum development, and educational innovation.
• Participate in teaching medical students, residents, fellows, and clinical staff.
