Job summary

Sun Recruiting, Inc. is seeking an experienced Family Medicine physician to join a Residency Program as Core Faculty. You will teach and mentor residents, contribute to curriculum, and collaborate with faculty on innovative projects.

The role includes outpatient and inpatient coverage, obstetrics training, and a strong focus on medical education. Schedule is traditional weekdays with opportunities for professional development and relocation support.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.).
• Completion of an accredited Family Medicine Residency Program by start date.
• Board certified or board eligible by ABFM or AOBFM.
• Valid Georgia Medical License or eligibility through the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact.
• Commitment to medical education and be in good standing with current employer or residency program.

Responsibilities

• Provide full-spectrum continuity patient care in outpatient clinic.
• Precept residents, deliver didactic lectures, and collaborate with faculty on program projects.
• Contribute to curriculum development and program enhancement.
• Provide training and supervision in inpatient care and low-risk obstetrics as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Participate in low-risk prenatal and postpartum care.
