Job summary

Unicare Community Health Center-San Bernardino is seeking a qualified physician (MD/DO) to provide comprehensive medical services including preventive care, primary care, vaccinations, prenatal/postnatal care, and coordination with specialists. The role requires CA medical license and board eligibility in Family Medicine, with a minimum of three years of residency training and at least two years in public health.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree.
• CA Medical License and DEA Certificate.
• Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Family Medicine.
• Two+ years of public health experience; knowledge of state/federal public health laws.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; proficient with basic computer tools and EHR.

Responsibilities

• Review patient files including allergies, problems, medications, and immunization status.
• Perform physical exams and order/interpret tests; analyze results to guide care.
• Prescribe treatments or medications per state guidelines.
• Provide prenatal and postnatal care; health education and disease prevention counseling.
• Manage patient care electronically in the EHR and maintain records.
• Refer patients to specialists when needed and coordinate care.
