Job summary

Tampa Family Health Centers is seeking a Family Medicine Physician to serve as Residency Faculty within our Family Medicine Residency Program. This full-time role combines outpatient care with resident education and clinical teaching responsibilities.

Ideal candidates are recent graduates or early-career physicians with an interest in medical education; prior formal teaching experience is not required. The position supports our Patient-Centered Medical Home model and residency program.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited medical school.
• Completion of an accredited Family Medicine residency program.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine.
• Active and unrestricted Florida medical license or eligibility to obtain one.
• Active DEA registration or eligibility to obtain one.
• Current Basic Life Support certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive outpatient Family Medicine care across the lifespan.
• Supervise and mentor Family Medicine residents during outpatient encounters.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to support resident education and patient care.
• Maintain accurate electronic health records and participate in quality improvement activities.
• Participate in residency meetings and teaching sessions.
