Job summary

Tenet Healthcare, in partnership with Detroit Medical Center, seeks a board‑certified Family Medicine Physician to serve as full‑time core faculty for the Detroit Medical Center Sinai‑Grace Hospital/MSU‑COM Family Medicine Residency Program. You will support resident education, clinical practice, didactics, and administrative duties.

You will lead resident education and supervision in an outpatient setting, mentor scholarly activity, and participate in recruiting new residents while maintaining

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree.
• DEA certificate requirement.
• Board certification with the American Board of Family Medicine.
• Maintain CME credits.
• Licensed in Michigan or eligible for licensure in Michigan.
• BLS certification or obtain within 3 months of hire.
• Knowledge of preventive medicine principles.
• Knowledge of state and federal laws pertaining to medicine and community health centers.

Responsibilities

• Serve as full‑time core faculty for the residency program and support resident education.
• Provide direct outpatient patient care and supervision of residents in an outpatient setting.
• Lead resident journal clubs, mentor senior projects, including research studies.
• Lead didactics, curriculum development, and supervise teaching activities.
• Participate in recruiting new residents into the program.
• Maintain scholarly activity in accordance with ACGME requirements.
• Coordinate administrative duties and in‑house billing, coding, and collections.
