Job summary

Samuel Staffing in North Florida is seeking a Family Medicine Physician (MD/DO) to join a stable not-for-profit FQHC. This full-time role offers a high-volume setting with a minimum of 25 patients per day and a base salary plus Quality & Productivity incentives.

Compensation evolves over time, starting with a guaranteed base salary of $235,000 for the first two years, then a revised structure plus a monthly $25 encounter bonus, and additional quarterly and semi-annual bonuses up to $24,000 each

Qualifications

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
  • Current Florida medical license and DEA certification.
  • Board Certification in Family Medicine.
  • Experience in FQHC environments preferred.
  • Comfort with high-volume clinic (25+ patients/day).

Responsibilities

  • Deliver direct primary care across all ages.
  • Perform exams, screenings, and treatment plans.
  • Participate in after-hours triage rotations.
  • Maintain accurate EHR documentation; contribute to QA/QI initiatives.
  • Provide clinical supervision and mentoring to staff.

Job Summary:
  • Position Title: Staff Physician (Family Medicine).
  • Location: North Florida (Multiple regional sites).
  • Employment Type: Full-Time.
  • Target Patient Volume: High-energy environment with a minimum of 25 patients per day.
  • Compensation Model: Uncapped earning potential driven by a high base salary plus Quality & Productivity (Q&P) incentives:
    • Years 1 & 2: $235,000 guaranteed base salary + Q&P incentives.
    • Year 3+: Transition to a optimized alignment structure (reduced base + Q&P + a $25 encounter bonus paid monthly based on MTD volume).
  • Additional Bonus Potential:
    • Quarterly Bonus: Up to $6,000 per quarter ($24,000/year).
    • Semi-Annual Bonus: Up to $12,000 semi-annually ($24,000/year).
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Lifespan Patient Care: Deliver direct primary care, health promotions, and disease prevention strategies tailored to the family unit across the patient’s entire lifespan (all ages, adults and children).
  • Clinical Evaluations: Perform comprehensive physical exams, run diagnostic screenings, formulate clinical treatment plans for acute/chronic illnesses, and prescribe medications in accordance with Florida state laws.
  • On-Call & Coverage: Participate in shared after-hours triage/contact rotations and cover alternative regional clinic sites during peer provider absences.
  • Administrative & Compliance: Maintain immaculate electronic health records (EHR), contribute data for UDS and grant applications, and participate in ongoing QA/QI initiatives under direction of the Chief Medical Officer.
  • Team Leadership: Assume clinical supervision, coaching, and mentoring of staff ARNPs, Physician Assistants, and medical assistants in accordance with Florida statutory requirements.
Skills, Experience & Requirements:
  • Education & Credentials: Graduate of an accredited medical school with an M.D. or D.O. degree.
  • Licensure: Current, valid, and unrestricted physician license in the State of Florida, an active DEA certification, and a current BLS certification.
  • Board Status: Must maintain active Board Certification in Family Medicine.
  • Core Philosophies: A genuine passion and "heart" for serving underserved and vulnerable patient populations. Prior experience working within an FQHC environment is highly preferred.
  • Clinical Pace: Demonstrated experience and high comfort level managing a fast-paced clinic workflow of 25+ patients per day.
  • Technical Skills: Strong technical proficiency navigating Electronic Health Records and Microsoft Office suite products (Word, Excel).
