Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited medical school program.
• Completion of an accredited United States Family Practice Residency program.
• Board certification or board eligibility.
• Valid Arizona medical license.
• Valid DEA certificate.
• Demonstrated understanding of clinical methods and techniques.
• Ability to meet and deal effectively with clients, associates and the general public.
• Basic business English, spelling and punctuation skills.
• Basic computer efficiency.
• Valid AZ driver’s license.
• Commitment to Adelante Healthcare mission, vision, and values.
• Competency in dealing with people of various cultures and social status.
• Certification to perform CPR and AED per AHA/Red Cross guidelines.
• Fingerprint Clearance Card issued by AZ DPS for specialty behavioral health locations.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality health care services including accessible and available services.
• Educate and effectively communicate with patients about diagnosis, preventive measures and treatment.
• Deliver treatments aligned with clinical impressions and working diagnoses.
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation in a timely manner.
• Coordinate transfers for continuity of care.
• Evaluate patients in a timely, courteous and professional manner.
• Complete all required billing documentation.
• Promote good customer service to external and internal customers.
• Consult and collaborate with other care disciplines.
• Assist management on performance issues of medical staff.
• Rotate call for emergencies as assigned.
• Attend CME programs up to 40 hours per year.
• Engage in quality improvement and peer review activities.
• Represent Adelante at community events and in group settings.
• Adhere to compliance with applicable healthcare regulations.
