Qualifications

• Graduate from an approved Physician Assistant school.
• Active PA-C certificate.
• Valid Arizona PA license.
• Valid DEA certificate.
• Current BLS.
• Demonstrated understanding of clinical methods and techniques.
• Ability to meet and deal effectively with clients, associates, and the general public.
• Basic business English, spelling, and punctuation skills.
• Valid AZ driver’s license.
• Commitment to Adelante Healthcare mission, vision, and values.
• Competency in dealing with people of various cultures and social status.
• CPR/AED certification per AHJ guidelines.
• Fingerprint Clearance Card as required for behavioral health locations.

Responsibilities

• Report to the Regional Medical Director.
• Work under supervision of supervising physician or designated agent within protocols.
• Meet with supervising physician or agent per AZ Statutes guidelines.
• Provide high quality health care services and accessible care to credentialed patients.
• Educate patients about diagnosis, treatment, and preventive care.
• Document thoroughly in electronic medical records.
• Ensure continuity of care through proper information transfer.
• Assist in coordination with other disciplines involved in patient care.
• Participate in CME and maintain licensure credentialing.
