The Wilmington, DE VA Medical Center is seeking a full-time BC/BE Primary Care Physician:

The Wilmington, DE VA Medical Center is currently seeking a highly qualified Physician for Dover, DE.

This Primary Care Provider will be based out of Dover, DE Veterans Healthcare Medical Center. Providing care at the medical center's satellite office.

Primary Care Duties

• Provides effective care to patients characterized by using sound judgment in assessing, planning, implementing, documenting, and evaluating patient care for assigned patients.
• Provides medical histories and performs comprehensive physical examinations (H and P's), orders appropriate diagnostic studies, interprets and analyzes medical data, establishes diagnoses, formulates, and implements treatment plans, and modifies treatment plans.
• Orders subspecialty consults, tests, prosthetic requests, completes forms on veterans' behalf that are within the treatment purview of the incumbent, and performs other clinical duties as directed and deemed by the Service Chief to be appropriate and in the interest of the Veteran.
• References quality improvement information and organizes patient care needs to assure safe, efficient, and cost-effective care and initiates effective actions in emergencies.
