CloseKnit Canton - Capital Healthcare, MSO Inc d/b/a CloseKnit in Maryland seeks a physician to deliver comprehensive primary care to adults, perform routine exams, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality outcomes. The role emphasizes compassionate patient care and organized, efficient charting.

You will work within a structured schedule, with 8- or 10-hour shifts, and benefit from a supportive work environment, malpractice tail coverage, and robust benefits

Qualifications

• Valid and unrestricted Medical License in Maryland.
• Board Certification, if applicable.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong dedication to providing compassionate patient care.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional primary care services to a predominantly adult patient population
• Conduct routine physical exams, including Pap smears
• Diagnose and treat common medical conditions while following established protocols to maintain consistency and accuracy.
• Counsel patients on strategies to promote general wellness, offering clear and actionable guidance.
• Manage urgent complaints that would be seen in a typical primary care clinic
• Collaborate well with an interdisciplinary care team to drive quality outcomes
• Review all labs and clinical documents in a timely manner
• Complete charting in the electronic medical record within 72 hours of the encounter
• Comfort seeing approximately 2-2.2 patients per hour on average, including walk‑ins
• Uphold a high standard of professionalism in all interactions, creating a respectful and positive environment for patients and staff.

Schedule

We offer a flexible of 8- and 10- hour shifts

Monday–Friday: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM
Weekends: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM
