Job summary

CloseKnit in Maryland seeks a primary care physician to provide high-quality care to adults. You will conduct routine physicals, including Pap smears, diagnose common conditions, and follow established protocols to ensure consistency. Collaboration with an interdisciplinary team and timely charting are required.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree and active Maryland medical license.
• Board certification, if applicable.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional primary care services to a predominantly adult patient population
• Conduct routine physical exams, including Pap smears
• Diagnose and treat common medical conditions while following established protocols to maintain consistency and accuracy
• Counsel patients on strategies to promote general wellness, offering clear and actionable guidance
• Manage urgent complaints that would be seen in a typical primary care clinic
• Collaborate well with an interdisciplinary care team to drive quality outcomes
• Review all labs and clinical documents in a timely manner
• Complete charting in the electronic medical record within 72 hours of the encounter
• Comfort seeing approximately 2-2.2 patients per hour on average, including walk-ins
• Uphold a high standard of professionalism in all interactions, creating a respectful and positive environment for patients and staff.

Schedule

We offer a flexible of 8- and 10- hour shifts Monday–Friday: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM Weekends: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM
