Position Overview

The Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) functions as an advanced practice provider within the physician practice, delivering comprehensive primary and preventive healthcare services to patients of all ages. Working collaboratively with the supervising physician and clinical staff, the FNP is responsible for assessing, diagnosing, treating, and managing a wide range of acute and chronic conditions. The FNP provides patient-centered care focused on health promotion, disease prevention, and management of chronic illnesses in accordance with Gateway Regional Medical Center policies, clinical guidelines, and Illinois state regulations. The role emphasizes patient education, continuity of care, and collaboration with multidisciplinary team members to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Education Qualifications
