Job summary

AdventHealth's Family Medicine clinic in the Chicago area seeks a Nurse Practitioner for a blended clinical/administrative role. You'll provide acute care in the clinic and collaborate with physicians, supporting patient care across a full spectrum of family medicine.

Expect about 8 acute patients per day, EPIC inbox management, chart reviews, medication refills, and coverage for physicians on PTO. Schedule is five days a week with rotating Saturdays; annual salary ranges from $115K to $125K,

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of APP experience required
• Must be able to work independently and in collaboration with attending Physician
• Must have experience in full spectrum Family Medicine
• APN will see acute patients in clinic; approximately 8 patients per day
• Administrative duties: triage EMR inboxes, refill medications, review labs and controlled substances
• Coverage for physicians on PTO or medical leave
• EPIC Inbox management for assigned Physicians
• Annual Salary: $115K - $125K

Responsibilities

UChicago Medicine AdventHealth has an exciting APN opportunity in our Family Medicine clinic our Chicago clinic on Archer Ave.. This role will be part clinical and part administrative.

• 1-3 years of APP experience, required

• APN will see acute patients only for clinic; approximately 8 patients per day

Qualifications

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• Master's degree in Nursing

LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION REQUIRED:

• BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Credentials are verified by local staff credentialing office.
• ACLS Certification, required
• Nurse Practitioner credentialed from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Credentials are verified by local staff credentialing office
• Drug Enforcement Admin credentialed from the Drug Enforcement Administration.
