PIH Health is seeking a Medical Assistant to work under supervision, performing a variety of clinical tasks and supporting staff across departments. The role may involve floating between departments and traveling to referrals, with duties including processing referrals and maintaining records.

Ideal candidates hold a high school diploma or MA program certification, CA driver’s license for float pool, and solid computer skills with EHR familiarity.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• Minimum six months of front and back medical office experience.
• Two years of front and back medical office experience preferred.
• Must possess a valid California Driver’s License for Float Pool hiring.
• Ability to maintain composure in fast-paced environments and communicate effectively.

Responsabilités

• May float between departments and travel as required.
• Process outside referrals (HMO and PPO) and maintain accurate records.
