This fellowship is ideal for experienced family medicine physicians or recent residency graduates eager to immerse themselves in teaching, precepting, and curriculum development to shape graduate medical education and future leaders in primary care.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.).
• Completion of an accredited Family Medicine Residency Program by the start date.
• Board certified or board eligible by ABFM or AOBFM.
• Valid Georgia Medical License or participation in the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact.
• Good standing with current employer or residency/fellowship program.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive patient care in an outpatient clinic setting.
• Actively engage in resident education through precepting, delivering didactic lectures, and collaborating on program initiatives.
• Contribute to the development and innovation of graduate medical education curricula.
• Supervise residents in prenatal, postpartum, inpatient care, and low-risk obstetrics.
• Participate in a structured Faculty Development Curriculum, including online coursework with ongoing feedback.
