This academic fellowship emphasizes medical education and leadership within family medicine, ideal for experienced physicians or new grads pursuing academic careers. The role combines outpatient care, resident teaching, curriculum development, and supervision of obstetrics services, with a structured faculty development curriculum and online coursework.

Qualificações

• MD or DO required or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited Family Medicine Residency by start date.
• Board certified or board eligible by ABFM or AOBFM.
• Valid Georgia Medical License or participation in the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact.
• Good standing with current employer or residency/fellowship.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver comprehensive patient care in an outpatient clinic setting.
• Actively engage in resident education through precepting, didactic lectures, and program initiatives.
• Contribute to development and innovation of graduate medical education curricula.
• Supervise residents in prenatal, postpartum, inpatient care, and low-risk obstetrics.
• Participate in a structured Faculty Development Curriculum with online coursework and ongoing feedback.
